Pictures Of Your First Year

Kadrie,

These are just some pictures of you when you were a baby. You were such a good baby. You would only cry when you were hungry or tired. I loved you from the second I saw you. It didn't matter where we went I was always stopped by people telling me what a pretty baby I had.

Your First Bath

Kadrie,

These are pictures of your first bath. I had never bathed a baby before. I was so glad that my mom was there to help me. You loved the bath, but you didn't like being cold after. When your hair was wet it was super curly, but I loved how it would dry straight and stick straight up like a troll doll.

Bringing You Home!

Kadrie,

When we brought you home, we had a house full of family that wanted to see you. Aunt Megan came from college in Idaho. She ws the first to hold you. Then Muuma and Shaye and Jacson came. Uncle Randy and Aunt Haley, Aunt Cory and Anthony all came as well. Everyone kept saying how beautiful you were. It was great having Muuma there, because you were my first baby and I she helped teach me how to take care of a baby.

Kadrie,

I am doing this blog for you. I want you to have a blog that is like a scrapbook of your life. Right now you are four, so I am starting this late. I am going to be doing a lot of catch up:). These pictures are from the day we met you in the hospital. I remember that day so clearly. We had received a call from Carol Lindly that morning asking if we were interested in adding another child to our family. I, of course, said yes. I had to send a letter and pictures to Carol and then four hours later she called and said that your birthmother, Merika, had chosen us to be your parents. We were so excited. We couldn't get to Jackson Hole fast enought. We were able to meet Merika and her mother. She placed you in my arms. Merika, your birthmom, is such a wonderful woman who made such a selfless decision. She loved you so much and she wanted you to have everything life could offer. She knew that at that point in her life she couldn't give that to you and so she made an adoption plan for you. We are so grateful that she did. We love you so much and I could never imagine my life without you. You bring me joy everyday. I know that Merika does think about you everyday and still loves you with all her heart. Kadrie, I am so glad you are my daughter:)
